Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hi...I just bought a s1000 HD and the internal HD seems to have taking 
a dump....what do I need to do...I have a new drive...but not sure 
what the first step is to installing it...I know nothing about the 
s1000 HD...I know I'm late on the game!!!
