Hi, - Do you have the problem with all samples ? Try only with samples from a sample cd , not with samples you recorded yourself! If its only with your own samples, its a recording problem. - As far as I know there is a D/A converter for every channel. If it takes a different sample rate to convert back to analog, it must be a processor error but that is very unlikely, or perhaps a problem with a central synchronization circuit. - The sound as you describe may also be a too high level which cannot be handled by the input of the output amplifiers for every output. If you want to have this solved from a distance, its better to provide this information + plus record what you hear through the outputs. If none of the members knows a solution, you can send all this info to akai technical support. In all outputs, in sample playing method. its not a bad contact i think, probably analog/digital converting or something else can you help?
