Have you tried www.Chickensys.com 

The full version is $150 US. There was a stripped down Translator 
Free version. I've only used it in Windoze to make S1000 CD's from 
waves so my Peavey SP could read them. It can convert S1000/3000 
samples to wave or aiff. It can see the disk on a SCSI bus in my PC 
or sampler and let me create an image. The limitation was one sample 
crunch per 1/2 hour.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
