Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hi,

I'm an Akai user and software programmer.
Over the time, I've written a small program called "akaiutil" which is
a console application to access S1000 and S3000 disks and image files.
A free version of akaiutil (for Windows XP) has been uploaded to the
Files/tools section.

What are the main features of "akaiutil" as compared to other tools?
* It's free
* Access to Akai S1000 and S3000 SCSI drives, CD-ROM drives, and
images files
* Format drives and images
* Transfer files, whole directory trees, and partitions from one drive
to another
* Archive files, volumes, partitions, or even whole disks in the TAR
format

If you encounter any problems please let me know. Any comments,
suggestions, bug reports are welcome.
