S1000 ROM's

Hi,

the S1000 have four Rom's?
I found the two in Front with the OS and two at the Card Slot's.
What's with these? In my are these Prom, and her http://www.memi.com/niko/studio/Gear%20Porn/Akai/S1000HD/slides/Akai%20S1000%20Expansion%20Cards.html are Eprom's.
