CD ROM Compatibility Tests

Tested all my Apple (Matsushita) drives and they all worked with the S1100!

Yamaha CDR200t-NB (May 1997)
Did not work at all, but it's a burner so probably no real surprise here.
Works fine with the E-mu e5000 Ultra

These are the drives that worked:
AppleCD 8x Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics CR-506-C (December 1996)
AppleCD 600i Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics CR-504-K (March 1996)
AppleCD 300i Plus Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics CR-503-K (May 1995)
AppleCD 300 Plus Firmware 1993 Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics CR-503-C (July 1994)
AppleCD 300 Plus Firmware 1993 Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics CR-503-C (July 1994)

Can you tell me, does all that drives works with PC and Windows?

Sorry Boris, I don't have a PC.

I use an Imac with no SCSI compatibility at all. I'm planning on getting an
older PC/Mac with SCSI just to use for these old samplers and other musical
gear.
