Kurzweil to Akai

Kurzweil to Akai

2005-02-19 by bramblettrandall

Hi, I'm new to the Akai world and I'm about to buy an S1100 since I'm
having so much trouble with my Kurzweil K2000 on the road. My
question is: will the S1100 read my Kurzweil samples from my zip
drive or do I have to resample everything. Maybe there's another way
if the zip doesn't work.
thanks, Randall

Hi,

Akai S1100 is from before the generation of samplers that read all
kind of formats. You will need a tool like awave studio. You find it
in the links section. That converts samples between 125 different file
standards.

Regards,
Frank

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
