HELLO EVERYONE!

I AM A MUSICIAN LIVING IN NY. I HAVE A HOME
STUDIO THAT I RECORD ORCHESTRAL MUSIC. THE NEW TOY
THAT WILL BE ARRIVING IS THE S1100 AND THE EXPANDER. I
HAVE USED THE KURZWEIL STUFF AND EMU, BUT LAST SUMMER
I BOUGHT MY FIRST AKAI(S3000) AND HAVE BEEN BLOWN AWAY
OVER THEIR SOUND.WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ALL OF YOU IN
THE FUTURE.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD DOWNLOAD THE MANUALS??
THE AKAI WEBSITE IS DIFFERENT NOW AND DIDN'T HAVE THE
ARCHIVED MANUALS LIKE IT HAD PREVIOUSLY.
ALSO,COULD ANYONE TELL ME THE ORIGINAL COST OF THE
S11OO AND THE EXPANDER BACK IN THE EARLY 90'S? I PAID
$200 FOR BOTH UNITS(PRETTY GOOD,HUH?)
TAKE CARE. DAVID CASTLE

Hello,

Your samplers were quite expensive when released back in 1990.
Referring to Keyfax 4 by Julian Colebeck, the original US price for
the S1100 was $5999 and you'd to pay $3499 for the expander unit.

Regards,

Mattias
