Hello I am an electronic drummer and I just bought a S1000 on Ebay.
Is it possible to store Drum Sounds on it and trigger them by midi with
my ALESIS D4?
My S1000 have only 2Mo and a floppy drive:how can I use Sound Banks on
CD ROM ?????
   Thank You

Thierry,

I dont see the point of hooking up your S1000 to an alesis d4. As far
as I know does the D4 work with midi triggers. You can better go
directly to the S1000 from the midi triggers (except when you want to
use the acoustic triggers of the D4).

2Mb of RAM is not nuch, but should be enough to store drum sounds. You
can store it on 2 floppies. You can read drum sounds from cdrom if
you have a working scsi card and a scsi cdrom. All othr info is in the
manual (look in links section).

Rgds,
Frank

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
