Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Has anyone done it?
If so, which one are you using?
I'm doing away with my internal Zip drives and want to
go for internal cardreaders.
I have an internal 100Mb Zip in my S1100
and an internal 250Mb Zip in my mpc 2000XL.

Any suggestions on what is the safest option?

Would be a nice project. I know that there exists somewhere a 
description of a project for building one in an mpc2000xl. Maybe you 
find it with google. I remember that it only worked with certain card 
readers and that they were available on ebay. Hope that helps.
