Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hello, here goes my first question,

It seems that I am not getting the full capacity out of my zip disks.
When I go to format a disk, the partition size option only goes to 60M.
I remember reading somewhere that the S1000 will make more than one of
these, and then size the last one to go to the end of a disk, but I
can't seem to access these other partitions. Am I doing something wrong?

Ohm,

Did you ever set the max number of partitions? It's the number just
below the partition size. 
I use MO discs and never had the problem.

I save my Zips as 3 x 30MB partitions. Never had a problem (touches 
wood...)

Hi,

You should be able to set the format option to variations - I set my 
Zips to 3 x 30 mb ( you'll never get a full 100Mb) which works fine.
