Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hey,

I recently got the s1100 and I think I'm going to have to let it go 
unless somebody convinces me otherwise.

I have an RME Hammerfall Multiface 2 interface, which I A/B tested 
vs. the S1100 and they sound almost exactly the same (I think the 
s1100 shines more on the highs).  I really don't see any reason to 
keep the s1100 since sampling to the unit takes longer than sampling 
to my comptuer throught he multiface and the sound is almost the 
same.   I use Cubase SX3 with a bunch of plug-ins, have some other 
vintage samplers for the character and a pair of turntables so I 
think this is just getting in the way and stealing my time. Anyway, 
if anybody has some reasons why they think I shouldn't sell it let me 
know! 


Also, if anybody is interested in buying the s1100 off of me send 
some offers.  It's got the 16 mb expansion and SCSI interface + 
internal 80mb hdd.  How much do these go for now days?
