Have you had any luck?
I will be trying one of these with my S1100:
The guy mentions something about "luns" and SCSI ID numbers in that older samplers like Akai can not use luns to identify which slot on the card reader to use.
So if you have a card reader that has multiple slots for different cards the Akai will not be able to work out which slot to look at to find a disk (CF Card), reagrdless
of SCSI ID settings. I have no idea what luns is all about, but for the Akai you need a way of making your card reader default to the CF card slot without the sampler
having to do anything.
I'm still looking for an external box to house my reader in, but then I should be able to test this reader out.
