Looking for a SCSI CD Drive that will work with S1000

2008-06-10 by hifistereo2001

Im just about to acquire a S1000, and I need to know if the HP
Omnibook cd drives will work with them. They are like portible cd
players, but with a SCSI connection on the back. Im just curious if
these will work with them.

Thanks
Tom.

Hey Tom I have A S1000 And A ESI32 Emu,, I use A old Apple performa internal cd
and put it in a used scsi case i bought at a used computer shop,, u could use a usb case and
just let the scsi cable hang out Crude but works
I tried a portable Richo that the manual said would work but never had any luck
the old 8X Mitsushita seems ok

where I live you can pick them up for 3or 4 bucks Value Village or Salvation army
good luck Neil
