Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

i have tried to transfer samples via MIDI

my software tells me i dont have the OS to support this.
so i downloaded the OS-Maker - but it does not do anything.

where / how can i get an OS 4.4 disc for my S1000 ???

Did you load this file from Akai?

There is an EXE-File in it that makes an Akai Bootdisk.

This should be done under DOS, so Win2000, WinXP, Vista could block the 
direct disk access - but you can try ignore when windows warns you...

Otherwise you could try to use AllowIO/Porttalk Driver from BeyondLogic
http://www.beyondlogic.org that gives you direct access to your PC hardware.

The most elegant version is to burn OS 4.4 eproms and install it in your sampler so
That your sampler doesn't need the floppy drive - it starts with 4.4 from the eprom.
