AKAI S1000HD - LCD Backlight problem - need a detailed informations/parameters

2009-03-02 by rafalrudawski

Hi

I'm new in group. I'm a composer from Poland. I use a lot of equipment, but last, I have
got (for free!!!) an Akai S1000HD from my friend who prefers software samplers:):):) Akai is
fully expanded: 32 MB of RAM (original kits!), SCSI card, digital I/O card, 100MB SCSI hard
drive.

The problem is with LCD backlight - is dead forever.....So I found a company here in
Poland which is ready to produce the same backlights in very low and good prices!!!
Minimum number of pieces to start to produce is 10.....So I have to pay for 10 pieces about
300 polish zlotys.....about 80 US dollars:):):):):) So it is.....8/9 dollars for one piece!!! Very
cheap!!!

I'm writting because I need to know all necessary parameters (voltage/connections/etc.)
because they have to produce exactly the same backlights to work in Akai S1000HD.

There's also a possibility, if some of You will need backlights I can sell few pieces for You
if You want - I don't need 10 pieces:):):) Just 3 (2 for reserve:)

I plan to start do it after I will have all parameters of theese backlights (in a 2 weeks or
month)

There are quality backlights for AKAI samplers.
No need to construct new ones ... :-)
