Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

In the manual, It says the output setting on the 'OUT' page in 'EDIT PROG' "interacts" with the output setting on SMP2 page (from the keygroup menu). but it doesn't. I think the outputs are all over the place, it's a bit of a messy machine. You've got 3 pages where you can set the output of a program. I've some how set an output to channel7, yet there's no jack plug in ch7 and the sound is actually coming out of ch4!!!! ! 0_o

what does the manuel mean by interact cause I've got 2 different readings here on my machine.

In edit program page you set the output for the program, in edit sample you set the output(s) for dedicated samples !!! ( important if you ahve drum samples mapped to the keyboard and need different samples appear on different outputs.
So,- if there are samples routed to different/other outputs in SMP2, these override the setting for the programs output.
