Analogue-sequencer

Hi all;

After 15 hours with it ,my tech  has delivered me  my new P3, It seems again 
acting strange and the manual is a bit confusing .

Could someone explain me step by step how to do a simple 8 notes pattern 
,please?

I´m about to throught by the window as I was about to do 8 years ago with my 
first computer

Heeeelp me plase!
