hi oozi pretty cool your case. i love the brushed aluminium, it looks some kind between industrial waste and high quality stuff, = its art. the data knob looks a bit lost.... whats the height of your case? I'm still waiting for all the electronic parts for my p3, so i'm using the time for designin' a case, but I dont now if a heigt range from 40 to 70mm is enough! grz mag http://www.magdesign.ch/SeqForm/StandardSeqRackSlider.jpg ch.l <oozi@oozi.demon.nl> wrote: hi kids! guess who's the happy one today.... i've just completed my second P3, and gave it the first test today. after a weird shortcircuit-ish thing with the powersupply all went well and the lovely P3 startup lightshow was shown..a memory wipe and a FW-update later i was in business. :) of course it's not perfect: i found out i used the wrong kind of connectors for the midi-trio (holes are in the wrong place), so i'll have to solder some cables to fit, or replace these. the case is probably the smallest possible, as i had to bend or resolder some connectors to get it to close. there's some pictures in the files section of this group. as you can see, i've used a different font & colourscheme for the step keys & keypad, and have all knobs except tempo & data white. the PLED display is SO cool..i'm loving the combination with the home- engraved brushed aluminium case. :) one well-pleased oozi out..
