Analogue-sequencer

Hi Colin,
I'm just currious if you still think of the R3 software version once 
in a while. I don't wanna push you for my P3 will keep me busy these 
days, and I don't got the money for my second P3 components. 
But I got some problems with the step sequencer of my jomox X base. 
The push buttons don't react when I touch them, I really have to hit 
or push them real hard to (de)activate them, so live jamming is no 
possibility anymore, and that's what I always did! 
The P3 works really nice with the Jomox, but now I use one track for 
the bass, one for the snare, and two tracks for the hihats, and I 
want to use another track for the bass for it's really wicked to 
play the bassdrum with 2 tracks from the P3, one track 4/4 and one 
in triplets. So far so good, but I also got 3 mono synths and an 8 
channel analogue drum box, the syncussion DRM1. 
So I got a question: Is it possible to set a sort of Force to Scale 
each track, but with a special resolution, so when you twiggle a 
knob on the lowest row it chooses between 4 preprogrammed notes like 
C1-D1-E1-F1. So on track 1 you can only play these notes, and on 
track 2 you can play: G1-A1-B1-C2, for example, while you can play 
all notes in track 3?
Or is it possible, maybe for the R3 version, that track 1 hides 4 
tracks, one track for only C1 notes, one for D1, one for E1, and one 
for F1, and that you can toggle, switch between these tracks with 
the function knob. So you won't use the lower row of knobs to give 
the note value, cause u can toggle between the 4 preprogrammed notes 
with the function knob, or is this not possible because the track 
gets polyphone this way?
