You need to use all 4 auxes, A - D.

Enter pattern edit, press FUNC+step mode to jump to aux A edit.
Then press FUNC+step mode again to enter the aux assign menu.
Press PAGE and use the data knob as necessary to select 'Rndmz note' for
aux A, then without pressing enter, press the step mode key again.
This saves the new assignment for aux A, and moves to setting aux B.
Select 'Rndmz velo' for aux B, then move to aux C - set it to 'Rndmz
length', then move to aux D - set it to 'Rndmz delay', then finally
press enter.
Now work through each aux again, turning on and setting the amounts of
randomization for each step for all 4 auxes.
The result should sound like Jazz.
