Yeah, it shows the tempo going up and down because it has no real idea
when the next pulse will come.

MMC is a sysex protocol for commands such as play, stop etc. so no.
MTC is MIDI Time Code and is related to absolute time - like SMPTE. So
it wouldn't make sense for a loop-based step sequencer.

Whick Korg is it? Using it as master in place of Logic would be a good
test.
