just found this on logics homepage: Description: A device synced to Logic with MIDI Clock runs at double speed. Explanation: MIDI Clock Data is being sent twice. This happens if there is a MIDI feedback loop in the system. Solution: 1. Go to the synchronization window, and set the "Transmit MIDI Clock" parameter to send to just the MIDI port needed for the slave device. 2. Check any control software for the MIDI interface to be sure that it is not rerouting MIDI clock, or generating it. 3. Check the MIDI cabling for a feedback loop. so colin, lay back, its a problem with logic! Not yet but i'll be investigating all Logic / P3 issues very shortly!! Well... as soon as my newly revived CPU arrives back... Thanks Colin! There may be midi routing issues going on here.. depends what's happening in the environment. If the highlighted Track/Instrument on the arrange has the P3 object as it's destination .. maybe it's routing it's in's to it's out's... If that makes any sense? Had something similar with Arp sync on microwaveXT. Does it do the same thing if you select "No output" as the Track destination? regards, Phil Yahoo!
