Folks,

v3.965 is in the Yahoo files section now.
This is one for advanced users - if you're not using aux events, you
can probably live without it.

5 new events are added:
 aux B = cc #n temporarily re-assign aux B to controller
 aux B = event n temporarily re-assign aux B to event
 aux D = cc #n temporarily re-assign aux D to controller
 aux D = event n temporarily re-assign aux D to event
events to trk n redirect subsequent events to another track

The first 4 events can be used to have one aux re-define the
function of another. This applies only for the steps that the re-
assign event is active on. This is handy if you want to send lots of
different CCs, don't need to send them all together, but don't have
enough auxes. You can use aux A to select the CC number transmitted
by aux B, and aux B to set the value. That way you could send 16
different CCs in one pattern using only 2 auxes.

The redirect event is to allow you to have more auxes for a given
track. Auxes are processed in order of track, so it is important
always to redirect events to a higher numbered track.
Say you want to have 7 aux events operate on a particular pattern.
You could configure aux A on track 1 as 'events to trk n' and set
the value to 2.
Then auxes B, C and D for track 1 will operate on the data for track
2. The auxes for track 2 will also operate on track 2 as normal,
giving you a total of 7 auxes.
There are some restrictions - you can still only generate 4 aux
notes in total, and CCs are not yet redirect (although that may be
added).
But you can also do very cool things. For example, if you use a
redirected aux to randomize the note value on the next track, but
have two different lengths of pattern, the note that is randomized
in the second track will move around.

Cheers,
Colin f
