Analogue-sequencer

Hi there,

Having just updated the firmware to 3.971...

The update itself was somewhat odd.  Not only did i have to wait a good minite plus for the "boot" "flash" commands to appear under
the "Checksum = ...." mssage on boot, i had to increase the delay in midiox up to about 500ms to aviod bad transfers....

But, now the checksum seems to have passed, etc.

But theres somthing real irritating that seems to have cropped up:

Whenever i edit a pattern, and then press the P/E button to exit, im asked where to save the pattern to.  This i always have to
change from some other pattern.  Why isnt it defaulting to whatever pattern im working on?  So easy to make a mistake and copy over
another pattern... :(

It seems that most default to saving over pattern one, but then a couple default to pattern 7.  Odd.  Even specifying the correct
pattern, and then re-editing the pattern, again on exit from the edit mode, the situation is the same (ie. its not just the first
time its edited)

Another irritation, thats been in place since the beginning, but id just kinda accepted it:  if i ever start editing a new track,
setting the direction, initially i have to scroll along through a load of CC stuff.  When ive scrolled (ie using the f1 button) back
enough i get onto the directions, and then when these loop arround again, theres no mention of CCs ever again.  Just somthing worth
mentioning, i guess.

Oh, and whilst im on the case -

Normally when i turn on the p3, it comes on instantly.  But then occasionaly theres quite a pause...


Any ideas on any of these?
