Colin, Since we've been talking about functions for the P3. I recently had to do a gig with a Schrittmacher (which is also a very cool sequencer), and it has a couple of very cool functions. I was wondering if the P3 has them too? 1. Say, you're running a sequence witht 8 steps. It starts at 1, it goes until 8, and then it repeats, etc. Say, some steps are muted. Now with the Schrittmacher, you can (after pressing a button), by turning a knob, change the sequence so that it puts all the notes one (or more) steps further, or back. The result is, although the sequence still has the same notes, that other notes are now muted and played. If you know what I mean. Extremely cool! 2. Same sequence, same mutes. It's 8/8. Say, you want to make it 5/8, but you want to play step 3-7. On the Schrittmacher, you just play step 3 and 7, and there you go... What about it? Are these features implemented in the P3? If not, is there still space? cheers, Gert www.waveworld.tv
