The idea here is that it would have to be done in pattern edit mode allowing individual 
auxes (A to D) to be masked and unmasked.

That sounds great Paul but i can't see how it could be implemented into the main play 
screen. 4 auxes per track and eight tracks. It could be done ofcourse but can it be done in 
a way that wont confuse the hell out of a newcomer to the P3. Let's here some ideas.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
