It's possible to convert a syx file to a mid file with suitable gaps between
the blocks. P3 shouldn't ignore that.
I don't see why a data filer wouldn't support it, if it plays mid files OK,
but maybe the Yamaha device ignores sysex, or doesn't support gaps between
blocks ?
