...or you can halve the timebase of a pattern and use the "REP*2, note
+ N" event to fill in the gaps between notes. I do this quite a lot,
as I  always seem to run out of available patterns before I run out of
ideas. But using playlists is the easiest way to go.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
