There's no space in the playlist data structures to store the additional
channel data I'm afraid.
12 banks by 8 parts by 8 tracks would need another 768 bytes. There are only
around 500 bytes free in P3's BBRAM.

There is always the 'set midi channel' event, so you can trade an aux for
the ability to effectively set the midi channel per pattern.
