It could be Cubase sending clumps of clock bytes - I dont think the KMS
handles that too well.
One other thing is that there is a trimmer inside the 808 that sets the
polling frequency for the DIN sync inputs via the CPU interrupt (it's a
pretty limited CPU...).
If that trimmer is out of adjustment, it can make the 808 miss short sync
pulses.
