RoHS compliant parts generally have a pure tin finish on the component pins
rather than a lead/tin mix.
As soon as you wet the pin with a lead/tin solder, then it will become
coated with lead/tin same as a non-RoHS part.
And you'll get a much better joint than you would with the toothpaste they
call 'lead-free solder'.
There is no problem using leaded solder with RoHS parts.
