How do i disable an accumulator?

2006-11-29 by bambam4236

Hi

I'm sorry if this is in the manual but i have searched it and the
archives and i cant find the answer.
I only finished my P3 a few weeks ago so am still in a steep
learning curve.....mind you its a fun curve ;)
A simple example of what i am trying to do is this.
I set auxA to be a "offset note rel" accumulator and assign step 1
to a value of 1 so the sequence rises by 1 semitone on each pass of
step 1.
Where I am lost is how to set the pattern back to normal at soem
point?
I know i can wait until step 1 is passed enough times and the
accumulator reaches its limit and then quickly turn the accumulator
off before the sequence passes step 1 and starts to rise in pitch
again. I have found if i turn the accumulator off the sequnce
remains stuck at whatever pitch the accumulator left it at and im
not sure how to make it reset back to normal.

I'm sure this is in the manual but i just cnat find it :(

thanks in advance
Brett
