The whole experience of performing with the P3 is vastly improved by  
the fact that it allows chording. If you want to (say) disable two  
tracks and enable another three by hitting all five buttons on the  
beat, it works.

An interactive sequencer which can't chord is (IMHO) about as useful  
as a music keyboard which can't chord.
