I had considered making P3 open-source, as I have done with simpler projects
such as my midi/din/midi sync unit.
Sadly, some people have great difficulty understanding the difference
between 'this source is copyright, and provided for non-commercial use
only', and 'feel free to build units with my software and sell them on
eBay'.
So P3 will remain closed source, which is probably not a bad thing from the
point of view of keeping to a single version, and maintaining a consistent
style.
