hi f, > Okay, a couple of really really lame little questions. And yes, I > have RTFM'd (well, skimmed it). bear in mind that the manual is for version 3.77 and we're now at 3.81b3..there've been some major changes since then :) > Is there anything > you're restricted from doing while it's playing? I know you can't > switch parts, but that makes sense. Is there anything else? i'm not quite sure on what you mean with 'switch parts', but so far i haven't been able to find anything i couldn't change on the fly, with the sequencer running smoothly all the way. the only exception to this are the SysEx firmware & data dumps. > There seem to be multiple clock division settings discussed in the > manual, but I couldn't directly answer this question. If the answer > is in fact Yes, how easy is this to do? the answer is indeed yes, and it's as simple as hitting a button.. and i must say that since owning a P3 my own personal quest for 'that perfect sequencer' is pretty much over, apart from harrassing Colin with my requests for additional functions...which i think is largely his own fault as the flexibility of the machine and the functions he's already implemented give me ideas for other stuff i would otherwise never have thought of. ;) grtz Chiel
