Well, I couldn't find a PLED anywhere, short of asking around on the boards (crystalfontz has a forum) to see if anyone has a spare.. so I went to MOuser and got an LCD. blue text with white backlight. same pinout, same board dimensions, but it is a few MM thicker overall so I had to get some thin washers and longer mounting screws and grind a bit off the edge of the display. Also had to install resistor R19 to get some juice to light up the LCD. Also need to wire up all the pins on the display for LCD. (pled didnt need #15 or 16 connected IIRC...
