And of course Colin already made a nice little box for it :-) Nice Mini btw!
Sync indeed gets more interesting when the slave Osc is modulated but I feel that would be to much modding/adding switches/pots to the Mini. I read somewhere that someone did it by installing a push/pull switch-pot for the tuning knobs (sync on/off). That must be a nice and aesthetically correct solution.
Osc sync on the Moog Prodigy sounds very nice!
Indeed it would be nice if the keyboard tracking was fully variable... and if one could control the filter with velocity...and that with a pot.. Your little box looks really handy to me. If possible I'd like one! Or better, the populated pcb so I can build it into some wooden housing with Moog-like knobs :-)
Maybe it's better to bother you with it off list.

  My convertor has a knob to control glide time, with the added advantage that
  glide is generated digitally, so the time can be over-ridden by a MIDI CC.
  I can assign an aux to set glide time per step in a P3 pattern.

  Glide on the mini is part of the keyboard circuit, which makes it less than
  ideal to hack into.
  I'd really recommend using an external glide circuit. Aside from anything
  else, it's very useful to have a choice of constant rate or constant time
  glide.
  You can still tweak it live if you keep the knob handy, like this...
