The upper row is where you select your auxes (how they are offset from the Primary Note). The bottom row is for "notes". You use this to select the Primary note. If you are using Relative Aux's as you indicated. You use the bottom row to switch the chord notes. The Relative Auxes will change with your selection. If your using 3 auxes you should actually have a 4 note chord. The primary note that is handled by the bottom row. And then the 3 auxes that are set in the top row. If you have nothing selected on the bottom row, or the gate isn't active, you won't hear anything... Sounds like your doing it right.. When you switch the bottom row, the whole chord changes, correct?
