I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds here, but after the recent discussions I feel compelled to say something. Expecting Colin to keep adding more and more features to the P3 long after it has shipped, and particularly a new OS version for a small user base without any renumeration, seems to be crossing a line. Discussion around this has lately reminded of individuals who pester and badger open-source / freeware developers because a freely given product doesn't do what they want. I feel that after a completed product has shipped it is not fair to expect the developer to provide any new features, just (possibly) bug fixes. Colin has provided more and more features and niceties for the P3 at no additional cost, far beyond it's original feature set. This is absolutely wonderful on Colin's part and I sure would appreciate if it continues. However, for one to repeatedly insist on such extra work takes this discussion from conversation to rude expectation. -Steve --- In analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com, Hans Greuber <turbotron69@...> wrote: > > > Thanks Colin, > > As I suggested.. You could do a custom OS for Dave,me and some other users to achieve the chord mode. There are lots of options that I don´t use or I´ll ever use as you all know that could be deleted to get the space for it. > > Other users would continue with the normal OS as before. > > Thanks!
