Hi Colin,

Thank you for you answer. lol, yes there was no chance going back for 
anything. It was just one vintage synth really, my original 1979 
bought Roland SH-7. All other synths was relatively new and is all re-
bought now. The fire started just inside the wall in the electrical 
power line intake, so because of we are not to blame for this fire, 
the insurance company makes no trouble either and that is good. So we 
can look forward to move in in a brand new house in about a year (the 
old house was built in 1964 I think).

Regarding my P3, I am affraid to try it, in case it will hurt my new 
synths if I hook it up. So I would prefer if you could tested it for 
me if you are willing to do that. The case has been warm, the knobs 
are melted. But I found a brand new wireless mouse which was still 
packed on such a plastic packings which is nearly "impossible" to 
open. Many new small gadgets/equipment are packet like this nowadays. 
The mouse looked like garbage, but when I opened the plastic 
packings, to my surprise the mouse inside still looked like new and 
is ok too. That is the reason for thinking the electronics inside the 
p3 may be okay. If you think this is a good idea, I could either ship 
it to you as it is, or open it, and remove all the circuit boards and 
then send them to you.
The casing (Schaeffer panel and DIY rear enclosure) I have no idea of 
what that is. Perhaps you could tell me a little more aboput this?
