You lost playlists but got multi-bar patterns with loop points. You can 
have a different pattern for each track and each part, memory 
permitting. You've been missing some major fun dude!

It remembers track mutes as always and yes it remembers the patterns on 
each track, each of which have individual loop points.

You can have a user scales for part too, different global bar settings 
(sync bars to the global bar, copy a part and just change the global bar 
on the new part for some very cool instant non-destructive changes to 
patterns.
