Accumulators work nicely in the P3 and Cirklon in that they add offsets to existing values such as pitch, velocity or whatever aux event is placed in row D. You can use them to make patterns get longer, or if using an event like random masking, you can have the randomness increase - all sorts of wacky stuff really. You might make the entire pattern shift in pitch on each pass or protect notes so that only sections of the pattern shift, there are lots of applications, especially as you can have positive and negative accumulation, add limits to the accumulators range and rules for what happens when those limits are reached. They might not be obvious from a brief acquaintance, buy accumulators are pretty versatile - so without knowing your particular problem with getting results, it's a bit hard to diagnose. As for other forms of modulation that might appear in Cirklon, that's up to Colin to reveal... :) -- Paul --- http://www.softroom.co.uk http://www.youtube.com/WilyEPeyote
