There is a fair degree of commonality between what you can do with these, though as has been pointed out to me by fans of playlists, they had an advantage in the speed with which you could try out different arrangements of bars in a pattern. A playlist lets you use the same bar (pattern) in more than one position. For a v4 pattern, you have to make copies of one bar to use it elsewhere. > Did people find the ghost patterns too > difficult to deal with due to problems that arise when you > try to change or move the original pattern? I am thinking > that I might like V4.5 because I just ordered a memX. I have to admit, I can't really remember the differences between 4 and 4.5, I've been working on Cirklon too long... I don't actually have a functional P3 here to look at, but I can pull one out and replace whatever bits got borrowed. If there are any specific questions you have, just ask them here, and I'll pick them up when I can. Best regards, Colin Fraser Sequentix Music Systems Ltd http://www.sequentix.com
