Cirklon is a superset of P3.
It has two pattern types, P3 and ck.
The P3 pattern type is much the same as on the P3, so the P3 manual will
give you a good idea how they behave.
I should point out that it is based on the v4 P3 OS rather than the v3.1 OS
described in the manual.
But a number of the beta testers have persuaded me I should resurrect the P3
v3.1 playlist functionality, in addition to the multi-bar patterns.
v4 multi-bar patterns were an easier way of creating a longer pattern, but
the method of constructing a longer pattern in the v3.1 playlist had its
merits in terms of rapid experimentation with the order of bars, re-use of
the same bar without having to copy it, etc.

The ck pattern type on Cirklon is a more typical event-list pattern
structure, of the type you would find in Cubase.
It is better suited to capturing polyphonic patterns.
It would be possible to implement MIDI file import to ck patterns, for
example.
