Hi Roman, Did you get an invite to the cirklon-beta group ? The basic manual information is there, as is an archive of messages from the past months that cover a lot of things. The cirklon group is for owners only, so I can prioritise support questions over general enquiries. It may make sense to merge the lists at some point, if that's even possible... I'll CC this answer anyway, for the benefit of owners who aren't on the analogue-sequencer group too. > - cirklon patterns: could not edit anything else than notes > (where are velocity, length, aux events?), also I could not > edit the track length as I can in p3 pattern mode (push BAR > knob, then COPY/DELETE) The cirklon patterns have a different feature set to the P3 patterns, aimed more at sequencing drums and real-time, polyphonic keyboard parts, than doing the tricksy stuff of aux events. The default edit mode for them is the drum grid, which I assume is where you were looking. In drum edit, velocities are edited with the encoders above each step, for the current note/row. Pressing ROW toggles between the grid view and the graph view of velocities. There isn't access to note lengths there yet. I wasn't sure if that makes sense for drums, though some of us seem to be using the drum grid for keyboard parts anyway. You can change the length of a ck pattern by holding the LAST key and turning the BAR encoder. Cirklon patterns don't have aux events. You can access the event list edit mode by holding SHIFT as you press PATTERN from the SONG, SCENE or TRACK page. That gives you a complete view of the MIDI events in a ck pattern, which you can scroll through, and edit all the values with the encoders under the display. > - aux events: in p3 pattern mode I just seem to able to > choose from CC's and aux macros (MENU, just note aux event > settings). where are the tasty midi send, knob mask, inter > track, etc. events? I've to confess I couldnt do anything > with the accumulator config either. When you are on an aux row, press and hold the ROW encoder, then turn it. That brings up the aux selection list. Once you get used to this 'gesture', you'll find it a lot quicker than reaching for a menu key. A second hold & turn of ROW will bring up the event group list. Just scroll in the lists with ROW, and press it to make a selection. Or press MENU to cancel the list and leave the aux as it was. I should take a break from the soldering iron and see if I can clear enough space to do a video of this. It's a lot quicker to demonstrate than it is to explain. > - SCULPT, A and B knobs are totally mysterious SCULPT needs to be activated by holding SHIFT and pressing the SCULPT key. One the LED is lit, hold the SCULPT key and tweak knob A while the pattern plays. The current row values will be captured from the knob position. Knobs A and B are also assignable to track values in play mode. I'll explain that as part of a track values tutorial. > - p3 OS: reading the P3 manual gives me the impression there > are quite a few things to wait for? Pretty much everything is there as far as the P3 patterns go. I have some more work to do on the cirklon patterns. What are you missing ?
