Re: CVIO option overkill for one mono synth? Opinions?

2011-07-09 by John

Thanks James. I've realised apart from it's CV/Gate output, the Kenton Pro Solo Mk2 also outputs din sync, and 12, 24, or 48 clocks per quarter note which will be essential to drive my LM2 (48 cpqn). These extras, plus the cash saving are steering me towards the CVIO less Cirklon + kenton Pro Solo Mk2.......

Colin is there a way to "advance" midi timing to an individual Cirklon port? For in my example to compensate for any latency introduced by the the conversion from Cirklon midi out > Kenton > CV/Gate out? That must introduce at least a few milliseconds of latency.
