I don't do very much of this actually, I prefer to keep my work and my fun separate. So Logic is almost always used with softsynths and my live stuff based around hardware. Usually if I sync to Logic at all (i.e. to test some Cirklon functionality), I have it as master with Cirklon driving the hardware gear. I would typically record the audio into Logic tracks and then shunt it around as per any loop. The vast majority of my own tracks I've recorded in the past, heck, years and years, have been done in one pass straight to stereo from P3 (now Cirklon).
