it does for me, check out the MrZorg stuff

All the sequencing done with the P3, no multitracking, one take..
I usually use 2 or 3 tracks for the two Tb303s and the remaining 5 for the
808 (its not a real 303/808, its a Chameleon App called 'Farenheit')

its do-able, but its not as intuitive to use when it comes to drum
programming.
I can't wait to get my hands on the R3 firmware, but people keep asking for
new features, so Colin can't work on it (that was a hint guys)
