Interesting. Step 9 is input 0 on the 4051, step 13 is input 4.
The tracks for these two run next to each other for a short distance -
there could be a connection between them.
But I think a bad 4051 is more likely.
If Boele let's you open it up, I can send you some digital photos of the
area you'd need to check.
